On day Paul went to see his grandmother who lived several miles out in the country. He had started his visit very much and it was almost sunset when he started for home. Paul thought of reaching home as fast as he could. He was hungry and tired but he knew what a leak in the dike could mean. He looked around. Paul had indeed done a heroic thing. And how proud his mother was of him. When she heard the story of what her boy had done .
