In reply to your advertisement published in THE TIMES OF INDIA on 3rd June that you have a vacancy for the post of a governess to look after a young baby at your home, I offer myself as a candidate for the job.


I am a married woman of 30 years. I belong to a middle class family and my husband works in a private firm. So besides needing money I have a lot of free time. I wish to utilize that.


I obtained a diploma in nursing before marriage and worked as a hostel warden in a school. My job was to look after young babies. That job gave me a lot of experience in handling children. After leaving that job, I worked as a governess for a two-year-old baby for one and a half year.


I passed my matric examination from the central board of secondary education - Delhi. I am skilled in performing the task of a governess.


I assure you that if given a change to be the governess of your young baby, I will treat him as my own child and look after all his needs. I also prepare all kinds of dishes. I hope that you will favour me with the job.
