This has reference to your advertisement in THE TRIBUNE - New Delhi on 7th June for post of an agent in your publication company. I take this opportunity to apply for the same.


I am 28-year-old and have a good health. I passed my B.Com examination from Delhi University. After that I joined M/s Salina Publisher - New Delhi as a sales agent. I secured a lot of business for their firm. But I have to leave the firm on account of certain unavoidable circumstances.


At present I am working with M/s Sahni Publications - model town and bringing in good business for the. But I want to leave this firm as I am ambitious and want to have a brighter future. That is why I am seeking a job in a reputed concern like yours.


I have been in this line for the last ten years. I know this area well and my personal contacts with the booksellers, schools and dealers will hope me to secure a lot of business for you. I assure you that by giving job to me, your concern will benefit greatly. I am capable of travelling extensively to book orders. I am fully acquainted with all the details concerning this work.
