In response to your advertisement in THE INDIAN EXPRESS of May 15 – 1992, I have the pleasure of offering my services for the post of electrical engineer in your factory.


I am a young man of twenty-eight. I passed my higher secondary examination from Delhi Higher secondary Board in 1968 with 78.5% marks and distinction in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I got the degree of B.Tech. in electrical engineering from I.I.T. - Delhi and got fifth position in the institute.


I have been working as an assistant engineer with Tata Electrical Co. - Delhi for the last three years. My present employers are fully satisfied with my work. I enclose a copy of the certificate given by them.


I have enclosed attested copies of my certificates and testimonials for your consideration. Originals, if required, shall be produced at the time of interview.
