Backlog : Collection of unfulfilled orders or consignments, (considered as a reserve) received by a company : The term often signifies the relative strength of a company or a market by comparing the value or volume of backlog for different periods or different companies.
Back Pay : Wages or salary due from a prior period : Payment to those employees, who continue to work without a contract while negotiating : the back pay consists of any increases in the new agreement, computed with effect from the date of the termination of the old contract
Back Up : The process of creating a copy of a document or a file while saving to secure the data : the copy so made
Backup Copy : A copy of data files and programmes created to secure the data as a protection against the corruption of the original files
