Dear Johnny,


How was the flight to England? I suppose you are getting adjusted to life over there.


I have to apologise to you for not seeing you off at the airport. I had intended to do so but when I woke up that morning it was already 7 a.m. Your flight was due to leave at 7.30. a.m. I could not have possibly reached the airport before your plane took off. Besides you would have boarded the plane anyway. I will have to get a louder alarm clock.


When you return in a year or so I will meet you at the airport.
