On September 30, the Federal Consumer Safety Administration (FCSA) released a study indicating blinds which contain lead may be dangerous to small children. The FCSA has found several cases of children touching lead dust on blinds, then putting their hands in their mouths and getting low-grade lead poisoning.


Although we have had no reported cases of illness due to Sabrina blinds, they are indeed made with lead. In light of the FCSA study, we want to take every precaution to ensure consumer safety. Effective immediately, we are discontinuing our line of Sabrina blinds.
