COD =
Cash on Delivery : a condition under which the cost incurred for making the services and materials available is to be paid at the time of the delivery by the buyer. It would also include service charges if a third party is involved. These conditions are used when the buyer is new or unknown or when the amount is small or when the credibility of the buyer is doubtful.
Code : A special set of rules and regulations given by the governing body for a special subject, for example, construction of bridges, waste disposal etc. : programme written in such a manner that either the computer understands the commands directly or the commands can be translated into terms which the computer understands.

Code Word : Usually it represents a set of symbols that actually mean something else, for example, a customer code, would represent the geographic location, credit terms etc.
