Dear Sir,

I am writing with reference to your advertisement in The Times of India dated 12th June for the post of a Pharmacist. I consider that my qualifications, experience and interests match with your requirements.

I have had a rich experience of five years in similar activities that include supervising, production and storing duties as well as looking after the distribution and medicine evaluation also. I also have good knowledge of MS Office and Power point Package.

I am enclosing my resume for your consideration and review. I shall appreciate to have an opportunity of personal interview when I can be able to discuss my credentials in detail. Looking forward to hearing from your soon.

Thanking you in advance for your time and considering my candidature for the position.

Sincerely yours,

S. Raizada

NOTE : The well written cover letter that accompanies your resume introduces you to your prospective employer. The letter explains where you learned about the job, tell why you are interested and highlight what parts of your background make you the most suitable for the position. A bad cover letter can tempt the employer to put aside your resume without even reading it. Always address cover letter to the concerned person. This is one of the cover letters for business proposals.

Writing a cover letter is not always as simple and straight forward as might be supposed. It is worth taking time to create the best possible first impression. Size, quality of paper, layout and neatness all contribute to this effect. By the time the letter has been read, the employer will have been influenced not only by its contents but also by the way it has been presented and written.

Try to find out TO WHOM you should address your cover letter. For jobs posted on websites, this is usually difficult to locate. In case you are unable to locate the name of the person you are to address your cover letter, make sure at least to address the cover letter in proper designation.
