Subject : Application for the position of A Kindergarten Teacher
In response to your advertisement in the Hindustan Times dated 17th June for the post of Kindergarten Teacher, I am enclosing my resume for your kind consideration and review. I consider that my qualifications, experience and skills match with your requirements.
I am now-a-days working as a Kindergarten teacher at a semi-government school for the last 12 months. I understand the importance of effective communication, both verbally and in writing with parents regarding their kid’s progress in learning and their attitudes to learn. As a Kindergarten Teacher, I learnt the necessity of a healthy environment for overall development of the children.
Although I am enjoying my present job, I am looking out for new opportunities in the same field with broader spectrum and large network.
Looking forward for a personal interview soon.
Thanking you for your consideration.
NOTE : The well written cover letter that accompanies your resume introduces you to your prospective employer. The letter explains where you learned about the job, tell why you are interested and highlight what parts of your background make you the most suitable for the position. A bad cover letter can tempt the employer to put aside your resume without even reading it. Always address cover letter to the concerned person. This is one of the sample cover letters for resumes.
Writing a cover letter is not always as simple and straight forward as might be supposed. It is worth taking time to create the best possible first impression. Size, quality of paper, layout and neatness all contribute to this effect. By the time the letter has been read, the employer will have been influenced not only by its contents but also by the way it has been presented and written.
Try to find out TO WHOM you should address your cover letter. For jobs posted on websites, this is usually difficult to locate. In case you are unable to locate the name of the person you are to address your cover letter, make sure at least to address the cover letter in proper designation.
