Pearson Industries, the Employer, and Rohan Walia, the Employee, hereby enter into this employment agreement. This agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Maharashtra.
The Employer and Employee agree to the following.
On July 14, 20-- the Employee agrees to commence employment in the position of sales representative. The Employer will employ the Employee for an indefinite period of time.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Employee include.
1. Carry out directives and policies of Patel Industries and the northeastern region sales director.
2. Meet sales and service goals for Patel Industries in the northeastern region.
3. Maintain existing accounts in the northeastern region.
4. Solicit new accounts in the northeastern region.
5. Stay abreast of product development and industry advances.
The above list of responsibilities is not complete and may be altered at the Employer's discretion.
The Employee's standard work hours and days are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The standard work hours and days may be modified at the Employer's discretion. After four months of employment, the Employee is entitled to two weeks ofvacation each calendar year. The scheduling of vacation is subject to reasonable control by Pearson Industries.
By signing this agreement, you consent not to disclose any confidential information about Pearson Industries, its employees, and its customers during and after your period of employment.
This employment may be terminated without cause on two weeks notice. Termination with cause may be occurring without advance notice or with payment in place of notice.
Only the chief executive officer of Pearson Industries has the authority to change these terms of employment.
The Employee's starting salary will be Rs.920 000. With the exception of increases in salary granted at the discretion of Pearson Industries, the terms of this contract will be ineffect unless amended in writing and signed by both Employer and Employee.
