This is sample Letter of Application for The Post of Part-Time Tutor. To : The Advertiser, The London Times, Box 1234, London. Dear Sir, With reference to your advertisement in The London Times dated ………. I have the honour to apply for the post of a Pat-time tutor, an opportunity that I have just been looking for because only yesterday I left one of my private tuitions as the father of my pupil has been transferred to London and they are shifting to that place today. Since I migrated to London after 2009. I am teaching the Higher Secondary School students of R.T. Higher Secondary school-English, G.K. and taking up Mathematics periods in the absence of mathematics teacher. I am generally having part-time tuitions up to Higher Secondary Standard – in English, Mathematics and G.K. I am at present 49 years of age and have in all about 30 years of teaching experience. A great majority of my pupils have shown excellent results and occupy some of the topmost jobs in government and Private offices. My way of teaching has always been more of a friendly nature than that of an instructor and my students has always liked me and tried to learn-being removed from the usual fear and treat of a teacher. I can spare time between 8 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. and I except a minimum tuition fee of 200 pounds per month. I shall be glad to call on you at time convenient to you. Yours faithfully, R.N.
