Dear Mr. Raghavana,

I realize that we have had a bit of a misunderstanding regarding favour shown by you to Miss Lathika. I am sorry for contributing to this misunderstanding. I just misunderstood your notion of generosity and so the things went wrong. With a little patience on my part, this whole mess could have been avoided.

I am very sorry if I have hurt your feelings or caused you undue stress over this situation. I hope that you will forgive me. We should learn a lesson from this incident and try to prevent occurance of similar problems in future.

Please accept my sincere apologies.

With regards.

R. Kumaraswami

This is a typical letter. You have to add your sender's name with full address. And the receiver's name and full address also should be added in the place allotted for that purpose. Without those primary details no letter carries any significance. So, you are requested to provide all those important details. Failing which the letter will make a wrong impression about you among the receivers of your letters. This is the most unwanted attitude on your side in dealing with the receiver. If necessary, leave those spaces blank.
