Insurance Letters have to be written either to insure life and property or to claim for damages suffered by accident, fire and natural causes. The letters have to be documented with facts and figures and accompanied by proper documents.

I insured courier postage of important official documents vide your receipt No. 6089 dated 9th October - 2009 to carry the same to Tapisan by your courier service.
We have received a fax from our Tapisan office stating that the documents which were dispatched have not been received by them till date. It is a week since it was dispatched.
On contacting up your officer yesterday, we were informed that they have no information of the same and that it might have been lost in transit.
Kindly pay the insured amount of $ 500 (USD $ five hundred only) by account payee cheque to our company before 30th October - 2009 failing which we shall intiate legal proceedings.
