Mr. M. Marian,
The Maalyvalley Consumer Association,
326 / H - Raman Nair Street,
Maalyvalley – 682 016.
Dear Mr. Marian,
I bought an multi-purpose electric socket only to blow the fuse when I tried to use it. I opened the socket to discover the socket is short-circuited. The design is so bad that a short-circuit is inevitable sooner or later.
Another time I bought a auto-lamp that plugs into the car’s cigarette lighter socket. I used it once to have it literally break apart before my very eyes.
These are only two of the many faulty electric goods that are easily available in the shops. Besides just being substandard they are potentially dangerous to the unsuspecting user.
Perhaps your association can do something about such a deplorable state of affairs and bring the subject up to the relevant authorities. This is a matter of some urgency.
