Kindly permit me to draw the attention of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewarage Board of Chennai through the columns of your newspaper towards the irregular and inadequate water supply in our area.

The residents of Chennai pay a good amount of taxes to Metro water Authorities every year. We expect that in return Metro water should provide regular water supply to satisfy our needs. But, the water supply provided by Metro water is irregular, inefficient and inadequate.

Water is supplied only two hours in the morning. A long queue is formed at the water taps. People have to wait for more than one hour to get one pot of water. We are forced to go to office regularly as late goers.

The Metro water Authorities are requested to take proper steps to provide uninterrupted water supply regularly.

Yours faithfully,

R. Babu
