Bangalore Development Authority has decided to build houses on a 10 acre plot of land previously reserved for building a sports stadium. This is a prime land and the project will provide housing for 6,000 families. This project is likely to be completed by 2007. However, it is facing stiff opposition from sports lovers. I read an article in yesterday's newspaper regarding BangaloreDevelopment Authority's decision to build 6,000 houses on apiece of land which was previously reserved for building a sportstadium. I wish to express my deep sense of anguish against thisdecision.
India's performance has been disastrous at the Olympic Gamesand India stands very poorly in the sports field at internationallevel. This is because we fail to groom our sportsmen as done inthe other countries.
The hopes of a stadium in Bangalore would have providedinspiration to many budding sportsmen. However, the decision ofthe BDA has dampened the spirits of all the sports lovers. Thestadium would have provided much space for the growing ofmany trees it could have been a breathing lung of the city.
The Housing complex will be an addition to the concrete jungle Which Bangalore has already become. Many sportsmen haveexpressed their resentment against this move of the BDA. I,therefore, appeal the BDA to review the decision and build astadium as was decided quite some time back.

This is a Letter to The Editor of A Local Newspaper. You have to add your company's name with full address. And the receiver's name and full address also should be added in the place allotted for that purpose. Without those primary details no letter carries any significance. So, you are requested to provide all those important details. Failing which the letter will make a wrong impression about your company and you among the receivers of your letters. This is the most unwanted attitude on your side in dealing with the clients who are the most valued assets of any business organisation. If necessary, leave those spaces blank.
