Love Letters Ideas : A Magistrate Falls In Love

My Dear Mrs. Puri,

I know that it is criminal on the part of magistrate to have an eye on woman who had been once defendant in his court. But then, how can I help my weakness? I know it is all the more criminal on my part to profess any love to another man’s wife particularly when I have got my own wife and also my children. But believe me, Mrs. Puri, I tried many cases in my court in which many young women had been either complainants or defendants. But never before this occasion, had I betrayed the slight weakness for any of then.

I do not know what happened to me that day when you appeared in my court as defendant in a divorce case. Honestly speaking, I could not look at you straight in the face. Whenever you happened to stare at me by accident, I could not even attend properly to the complaint of your husband against you or your defence against his charges. My wits were completely confused and that is why probably I gave wrong judgement which must have wounded your heart. But please pardon me for that. I am prepared to make any amends for my fault.

Now that I have given my verdict and you are now completely free from all obligations to your husband. I am wondering all the while what a big fool your husband was to sue you for a divorce. If you were my wife, I would not have agreed to lose you even for a kingdom. Even now when I have for my own wife, I am prepared to lose her at this very moment if you only give me a hint that you will not refuse me. I do know why at this age, I am running after another man’s wife particularly a discarded wife.

But then I must tell you that any man on earth would agree to divorce his own wife in order to win a single smile from your face. You do not probable know what have you to play upon the male hearts with these eves, those lips, those locks of hair, those arms and legs and above all, with that glowing bosom which even Venus would envy to possess.

Therefore Mrs. Puri it is not the fault of magistrate to forget himself for a while why he has to encounter a paragon like you in this court.

Yours Very Sincerely,

P.K. Khanna
