Probationary Period for New Employees :
This Letter should be written in The Letter-Pad of the Company.
New employees at Check Mate Productions are subject to a 90 day probationary period.
This is meant to be a period for adjustment and evaluation of the employee's suitability.
The employee is expected to meet or exceed performance expectations for new employees in that position during the probationary period. The employee is also expected to observe company policies, rules, and standard procedures.
The human resources department may extend the probation period beyond 90 days upon supervisor recommendation.
If it becomes apparent the employee will not be able to meet these expectations, he may be terminated at any time within the probationary period. However, before termination, the supervisor will attempt to advise and assist employee in meeting expectations. The human resources department must approve a decision to terminate employment.
An employee who completes the probationary period successfully will be employed according to all policies and regulations affecting regular employees. The completion of the probationary period does not in any way limit Check Mate Productions' right toterminate, discipline, or reassign the employee.
