Reflexive Pronouns :
Here is the list of reflexive pronouns.
First Person – Singular – myself
First person – Plural – ourselves
Second Person – Singular – yourselves
Second Person – Plural – Yourselves
Third Person – Singular – Himself, herself, itself
Third Person – Plural - Themselves
The subject forms are said to be in The Nominative Case and the object forms are said to be in The Objective Case (or The Accusative Case).
By CASE we mean the form of a word showing its relationship with other words in a sentence.
Reflexive pronouns are used when the same person is the subject and the object of a verb.
I saw myself in the mirror.
The boys are washing themselves.
These pronouns can also be used to emphasize nouns or pronouns.
I saw the mirror myself.
Tom has done the work himself.
When used in this way, these pronouns are sometimes called Emphatic Pronouns.
