RESPONSE : If the person is unavailable at the location you are calling ask where he/she may be reached. If the person is unavailable at the time you call inquire as to whenhe/she will be available.




SALES REP : Hello, Ms. Johar, my name is Bajaj and I'm with Response Communications. I understand you are the person responsible for Dilip Corp.'s sales and marketing strategies. Is this correct?

RESPONSE :




SALES REP : Great! Yes, I know that you're interested in increasing your customer base, and if you have a few minutes I'd like to ask you a few questions, okay?

RESPONSE :




SALES REP : Tell me, Ms. Johar, how do you currently get most of your customers?

RESPONSE :




SALES REP : Is there a particular group or category of customers that you target?

RESPONSE :




SALES REP : Would you like to increase your customer base from any particular category?

SALES REP : Do you do any target mailing at the present time?

I think we can help your direct marketing effort tremendously. I'd like to have one of our representatives speak with you in person about this. Would next Tuesday be convenient for you?
