The Signature Line in The Business Letters

The Signature Line in The Business Letters :

Skip two lines and type out the name to be signed. This customarily includes a middle initial, but does not have to. Women may indicate how they wish to be addressed by placeing Miss, Mrs. & Ms. or similar title in parentheses before their name.

The signature line may include a second line for a title, if appropriate.

The term BY DIRECTION in the second lin means that a superior is authorizing the signer.

Sign the name in the space between the close and the signature line starting at the left edge of the signature line.

Example :

Sincerely,

(Signature Goes Here.)

Sincerely Yours,

(Signature Goes Here.)

Prakash Jha
Director of Acquisitions
By Direction : G.M. (Finance)

The signature should start directly above the first letter of the signature line in the space between the close and the signature line. Use blue or black link.

NOTE :

This is a typical letter. You have to add your company's name with full address. And the receiver's name and full address also should be added in the place allotted for that purpose. Without those primary details no letter carries any significance. So, you are requested to provide all those important details. Failing which the letter will make a wrong impression about your company and you among the receivers of your letters. This is the most unwanted attitude on your side in dealing with the clients who are the most valued assets of any business organisation. If necessary, leave those spaces blank.
