Writing Resume Objective

Writing Resume Objective :

Incorrect and inadequate information can Seal Your Fate.

Candidates often provide incorrect information on their resume. Sometimes they exaggerate on the resume. The candidate sometimes claims that he had been the in-charge of a particular project in his past job. But when discussing the same project in interview, the employer would soon realize that candidate had submitted incorrect information. His work had more to do with just coordinating activities rather than taking decision as in charge. It is also seen that the candidates mention as an expert at a particular skill. But when the matter is discussed at interview, it is soon realized that they are having just superficial knowledge and no expertise.

It some cases it is observed that the candidate is providing inadequate knowledge knowingly or unknowingly that have very undue impact on the recruiter. Even if you get an interview call, you are sure to get negative marks in interview. For example, a candidate mentioned things like - We completed this project in record time of thirty days only. The candidate didn’t inform what his role in completion of the project was. We disposed off all the customer complaints within a fortnight. The candidate didn’t mention the number of complaints or his role in the task. When you are presenting your skills and your achievements on your resume, it is advisable to put them in number of terms that appeals to the employer most.

The make-up of your resume is as important as its contents. A visually good looking resume may not impress the employer to benefit you but a resume that is poorly formatted and/or overwhelmed with text will surely be a negative point for you. So you must concentrate on the make-up and contents of your resume.
